Hi,
For one of our customers, that is using SAP Customer Checkout (CCO) we have designed customer print templates based on the default.
However, we have noticed that the print template stops working after every CCO upgrade or new patch requires an edit / or rebuild. Understandable that this is a never-ending cycle as we want to keep the customer on the latest version of CCO.
I have not been able to find a reference in the XSL Stylesheet, that would indicate whch version the template is for, so we need to keep starting over from scratch.
Anyone have this issue also?
Hi Clayton, Hi Julian,
about this topic, please, refer to SAP KBA 2643512 - Customised print template not working after CCO update.
After an update you as a partner have two options:
One general advise is never to adapt the standard templates provided by SAP because they will always be overwritten with every update of CCO. Instead, always a copy of our standard template should be created to do your customization.
I hope this helps you. If your question in answered, kindly select the answer as “Right Answer”. This helps others to follow and easily locate answers.
Regards,
Mateus

I also propose you read the KBA 2717189 - How to customize the print templates in CCO according to your needs.
This is unfortunate, but if there is no other option, so be it. Thanks for the info, and corfirmation that this issue is not just ours.

Dear Clayton,
yes we experience the same issue.
We could rename the original template, make our changes and assign the new named template within CCO backend.
When update occurs, CCO still works and old template still exists in folder and should work as well.
But after time, we have to look in our notes and make the changes again within the new rolled out template, to stay up to date.
Anyone more ideas?
Thanks,
Julian
