We’re pleased to announce that SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 Feature Pack 18 has been released on 5th of December 2023.

This new Feature Pack 18 includes enhancements to existing functionalities and new features in SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager.

The following enhancements are the main highlights of the new feature pack:

  • Enhancements in Tip Handling

    • Improved handling and pop-up dialog to enter tip amount during sales process

    • New quick selection button available for tip

    • Configure default tip amounts to select during sales process

    • Optimized handling in the payment pop-up dialog to choose change payout as tip

    • New configuration settings available to set default tip payout to zero during day-end closing process

    • New configuration settings available to set default payout to tip during payment process

    • Optimized tip section in the Cashing-up screen to check tip amount and balance

    • Enhanced tip handling when performing day-end closing



  • Email improvements

    • Enhanced pop-up dialog when entering email address for receipt

    • Information message shown when email could not be sent to the end-customer

    • Validation of incorrect email configuration settings

    • New field available to enable and disable the complete Email delivery functionality

    • Optimized messages shown in the POS system and in SAP Customer Checkout manager when emails could not been sent successfully to the end-customer



  • New Retail UI

    • Optimized receipt header details view in the POS system

    • Display user-defined fields for customers in the new Retail UI of SALES screen

    • Simplified and optimized handling when entering discounts in the new Retail UI with few clicks

    • Improved pop-up dialog when editing existing and creating new customer profiles in the new Retail UI of the SALES screen

    • Improved dialog for one-time customers when posting receipts



  • Enhancements in Quick Selections

    • New text type component available to be used in the SALES screen

    • Improved navigation for quick selection configurations

    • New option available to copy an existing quick selection group to another quick selection configuration



  • Enhancements in Mobile Order

    • Possibility to upload icons for identity providers when logging in into Mobile Order UI

    • Support for 3D secure for Computop payments in Mobile Order



  • Archiving

    • Improved view and more transparency of archived receipts and sales summaries

    • New job available for archiving and delete archives which are not used anymore

    • New outbound service available to archive sales summaries

    • Possibility to forward sales summaries to other SAP Customer Checkout manager systems



  • Enhancements for North America

    • Possibility to select tax rate for shipment information when using local tax calculation mode for the United Stated of America



  • Enhancements for integration with SAP S/4HANA

    • Possibility to send sales business documents for WPUBON from the POS system to the SAP S/4HANA system

    • Possibility to enter alternative POS ID for posting invoices to the SAP ERP system



  • And many more enhancements
