During the last couple of weeks we had some great community moments in this south cone of Latin America. The most important event for me was the first SAP Inside Track in Buenos Aires because it was the first, it was in my hometown and it was a success.

diegohdora, we glued an SAP CodeJam on HANA Express Edition to the first edition of #SITBA. He already describes the experience and links to the presentations very well
in this blog but for those still wondering what an SAP Inside Track is, it is is
a local grassroots community organized event where SAP community members come together to share knowledge, expertise and network (ref.
this wiki).
In other words, it is a great chance to network, share knowledge and experience with other folks in the SAP ecosystem.
We shared about community and a wide variety of topics:
- An intro on what SIT is and some tips to keep up with all the innovations,
- a real-life experience with S4/HANA from the basis perspective,
- a deep-dive into ABAP and BOPF,
- one of my favorite topics (and I could almost spend the whole session without talking), HANA on the Google Cloud Platform
- a hands-on approach to understanding the first ends of IoT
- a heated debate on blockchain and cryptocurrencies
All presentations and some more details are described
in this blog.
Wish you hadn't missed it? You still have a chance to join us. We will be holding a meetup at the downtown Buenos Aires office of SAP on
August 24th, 2017. Entrance will also be free but space is more limited. You can register here:
