SAP Inside Track Buenos Aires 1st Edition (Completed) – Recap #sitBA

The 1st Edition of the SAP Inside Track Buenos Aires is FINISHED and it was a SUCCESS!!! We’re very proud and happy to have the first edition of this wonderful community driven event in Argentina.

The enthusiasm from the participants and the good will of the speakers was second to none. As you know, per my first blog on the topic, the event was hosted at the sovanta AG offices in the center of Buenos Aires and we received on Saturday noon a total of 32 people !!!

The schedule for the day between presentations and recreational snack stops (A.K.A. Lunch time) was as follow:

12.45 – Diego Dora (sovanta & SAP Mentors): Kick Off – Leaving the comfort zone

13.30 – Lucia Subatin (SAP) – Como me actualizo

14.00 – Lunch

15.00 – Daniel Poblet (SAP) – The Perfect Incident

16.00 – Ignacio Kristof (Accenture) – S/4HANA Implementation

17.00 – Martin Portillo / Mariano Speranza (iXolve) – SAP + Google Cloud Platform

18.00 – Agustin Pighin (sovanta) – The future is here… ABAP Development using BOPF

19.00 – Fernando Lichtschein (Deloitte & ORT) – Internet of Things

20.00 – Gustavo Yauny (sovanta) – Cryptocurrency & Blockchain

As you can imagine between the presentations, food and some great conversations we ended up wrapping up things at around 10PM… some of our guest didn’t want to leave 😉

One thing was very clear, this is the first of many community events that we will have in the country… I really felt that the people in Argentina has been waiting for this type of event to come together and find common solutions to their everyday problems and it makes really happy to see such a response from them.

So… What’s Next?

First MeetUp for the SAP Developers en Argentina. At the SAP offices (Av. Leandro N. Alem 855, Piso 9 ) on August 24th.
SAP Inside Track Buenos Aires 2nd edition. Tentative date: December 16th.
SAP CodeJAM Buenos Aires 2nd Edition. Tentative date: December 15th
UI5Con. Working on trying to bring the 1st Edition to the American continent of this awesome event. We want to take the lead on this and kick it off in Argentina following the amazing example of our friends from Frankfurt and St Leon-Rot.
