How to enable selection option in WAD on 'characteristic as key figure'

Hi all

I am working on a solution for a user to create data and save it to an aDSO. They need to report on issues and need to capture these issues.

I created a Input ready BEx query with characteristics, characteristics as key figures and normal key figures. This query was build on an aggregated layer which was xreated on top of a Composite provider which sits on top of 2 aDSO's. They want to access this query on the portal. I created a WAD template with an Analysis component to display the data and a connection that connects to the BEx query. This template is then linked to an iView on the portal. All is working fine, data is saving to the aDSO, except the 'characteristics as key figures' does not have the option to select a value. You can only type the values in the cells when the query runs on the portal through the Web Template. The query is working fine when I open it in Analysis for Office. I can click on the cell and a selection option will be available. But when I open the query in the WebTemplate I can't select the data for the 'Charactersitics as key figures'. Is there a way to resolve this?
