SAP Financial Consolidation 10.1 SP07 is one of the most complete software versions we delivered so far, with major innovations on the HTML5 Fiori web UX, enhanced S/4HANA connectivity and new auditability and tracking functions (see Announcing the availability of SAP Financial Consolidation 10.1 SP07 on sap.com for more detail).
As SAP Financial Consolidation customers are currently significantly adopting release 10.1 SP07, we decided to postpone 10.1 SP08 delivery in order to let them secure their 10.1 SP07 go-live/upgrade projects.
Effective immediately, given the large number of customers upgrading to release 10.1 SP07 and considering the time they need to perform the upgrade, SAP Financial Consolidation 10.1 SP08 is targeted to be released in March 2019 (instead of November 2018).
By doing this, SAP R&D has the possibility to patch the current 10.1 SP07 version (if/when needed) for a longer period of time and in the most optimal conditions. Most importantly, SAP secures our customers' upgrade and go-lives with version 10.1 SP07.
