We have recently implemented SAP Business Network.
This has resulted in the linkage of the Inbound Delivery to S/4HANA after receiving a Shipping Notice from the supplier, but at this time, the Quality Certificate for the QM module is also automatically registered in S/4HANA, and I would like to prevent this from being automatically registered.
In the past, the quality certificate was automatically registered when the warehousing process was performed.
How can we return to the previous process?
Is it possible to prevent the quality certificate from being associated with the Inbound Delivery?
Hello,
According to your post, I understand you are using the Supply Chain Collaboration module in SBN, and you also have the "Quality Certificate" requirement for ASN.
I would suggest checking if there is a transaction rule that you can disable this requirement during ASN creation; if you can't, a custom mapping can be done in Managed Gateway (formerly known as CIG) to remove this requirement when the PO is posted.
The bottom line here is, this standard integration is triggered by your PO that has the flag of certificate, and you need to figure out how to remove this requirement from the SBN point of view. If you still have a buyer integrator from SAP, you could engage with them to assist you on this, otherwise, you need to follow the path that I suggested above.

Surely, we don't require Quality Certificate on SBN flow.
We could find how to remove Quality Certificate tag in cXML message by CIG custom mapping, so we set this up and confirmed it was removed on PO and ASN.
But in S/4HANA, when ASN is received, inbound delivery is automatically created despit changing the mapping.
So we ran T-cd: ST05 in S/4HANA when receiving the ASN and identified the referenced class, we found that the process in the class CL_ARBCIG_DISP_DELV_NOTIF_NOTIF_IMPL automatically sends the quality certificate if the flag for receiving the quality certificate is available on the PO to be processed.
This is undesirable behaviour in Commerce Automation and we have identified it as a bug in SAP.
We will contact OSS and ask them to improve this behaviour.
Thank you very much.
