Display complete hierarchy of registered products

Hi all,
is it possible in the C4C registered product to see the complete hierarchy of the belonging installation points?

I can click from installation point to another installation point. And in the highest level of installation point tab "position hierarchy" I see the hierarchy.

But, I would find it user-friendly to have a link and to see the hiearchy in the registered product too. Is this possible?
Thanks for feedback.

Hello deborah.albrecht2,

C4C do not currently hold a complete Hierarchy of Registered Products, unfortunately.

The only way I could see you having some sort of 'order' in your Registered Product search would be to add, for example, a field in the Header of Registered Products and make that field available in the search menu. The only catch would be that you would have to maintain a certain manual order on that new field.

New field in Header (example):

Having this set on C4C, you would need to have a certain order so that when you would search from 'Sort Descending', you would be able to see the list in the order you so much wanted.

For example:

Parent RP number1: A

Child RP number1: A_1

Child RP number1: A_2

Parent RP number2: B

Child RP number2: B_1

Child RP number2: B_2

It's most likely not the solution you would want, therefore I answered as a comment and not a reply.

Gabriel

Hello Gabriel cc4f00ba-6b54-403d-bf1c-3233ad7ff438 ,
thanks for your feedback. The content of the KUT field must be filled in the integration, right? Have you changed the mapping in the CPI?
Or how do you get the hierarchy from SAP ERP in there?
Best regards, Deborah

Hello deborah.albrecht2 ,

The way I did was simply fulfil it manually, one by one.

No Integration was done in my example.

Regarding your question on how to get the Hierarchy from SAP ERP in this new field, I am not specialized in ERP - Sorry.

Regards,

Gabriel
