Assigning Employee responsible and sales area data programmatically

Hi All,

We want to give options of entering employee responsible and sales area data manually during account creation. I am able to achieve this using SDK.

For few users, error message is shown as "Please maintain sales data for selected sales organization". The message vanishes once I navigate to sales area data where the details are maintained during creation. This is not happening for my id where I have admin access. Any specific access is required? Any inputs?

Could you please suggest how you have achieved the functionality of adding sales data using SDK? We have a similar requirement of adding sales data to Employee while its creation.

Hi Gauri Nargunde,

The errors that are shown might be related to the sales area data maintained or not maintained for the employee and how the are assigned to the organisational model. While creating the account and assigning the owner organisational data will get populated. There are also scoping questions on this matter.

Could you provide some context on why you decided to do SDK on this part and not using the standard? Which could be interesting information for the community.
