Conforme informamos no blog post da semana passada, com o propósito de mitigar o impacto econômico da pandemia causada pelo COVID-19, o governo federal determinou, por meio da Medida Provisória 936, algumas medidas legais para proteger o emprego da população, fornecer ajuda financeira aos trabalhadores e apoiar empresas brasileiras durante esse período.
Sendo assim, é de responsabilidade das empresas informar ao governo sobre os empregados afetados, para então terem direito ao benefício. Portanto, nesse blog post abordaremos os seguintes tópicos:
O que é o Benefício Extraordinário Mensal – BEM
O BEM foi criado pelo governo federal brasileiro, através da Medida Provisória 929, no dia 25 de março de 2020, que determina o pagamento de benefício mensal aos trabalhadores que tiveram seus contratos de trabalho suspendidos ou jornada de trabalho reduzida por período determinado, em função da estarmos em situação de calamidade pública.
Como será o processo
Para que os trabalhadores tenham direito ao BEM, as empresas deverão fazer sua adesão por meio de declarações que serão enviadas através de arquivos utilizando o formato e extensão .CSV (Comma Separated Values), o qual poderá ser validado nessa página. O prazo para submissão das declarações é definido pelo Ministério da Economia e o pagamento ao empregado deverá ocorrer 30 dias após seu envio.

O que esperar da SAP
Para atender esse requisito legal, a SAP irá disponibilizar um exemplo de código de consultoria, o qual cada empresa poderá utilizar para criar um programa Z para gerar automaticamente o arquivo .CSV.
Previsão de liberação de SAP Note
O exemplo de código citado na seção anterior será disponibilizado via SAP Note, que tem previsão de liberação até amanhã, dia 08 de abril.

Hi everyone,
According to the blog post published last week, in order to mitigate the economic impact of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, the federal government determined, through Provisional Measure 936, some legal measures to protect the employment of the population, providing financial benefits to workers and support Brazilian companies during this period.
Thus, companies are responsible to inform the government about the affected employees, to enable them to get the benefit. Therefore, in this blog post we will discuss the following topics:
What is Extraordinary Monthly Benefit (Benefício Extraordinário Mensal – BEM)
The BEM was created by the Brazilian federal government, through the Provisional Measure 929, on March 25, 2020, which determines the payment of monthly benefit to workers who had their work contracts suspended or working hours reduced for a certain period, due to the public calamity situation.
How is the process
To enable works to get the BEM, companies should make their declaration through a form using the .CSV format and extension (Comma Separated Values), which can be validated on this page. The deadline for submission of the declarations is set by the Ministry of Economy and the payment to the employee should take place 30 days after sending it.
See below an example of a basic structure of the BEM Program:
What you can expect from SAP
To meet this legal requirement, SAP will provide an example of a consulting code, which each company can use to create a Z program to automatically generate the .CSV file.
SAP Note delivery
The example code mentioned in the previous section will be provided via SAP Note, which has its delivery planned for tomorrow, April 08.
