New Process Views and disappearing global Filters in Dashboard

I'm currently creating another process view, apart from the default view, for Dashboard Consumers in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence.

The goal of this views is that you can hide and filter certain attributes for each view. This view on the process data is then used for the dashboard(s) and investigation(s). This makes sense as you do not want to overwhelm you users with 300 different attributes, or you want to hide attributes which are not relevant, for example anonymized User IDs.

I realized that when I hide an attribute for this "new process view" and apply it for a dashboard, all global filter options on the top of the dashboard will be removed. So users with the Consumer role can't change the filters (like date ranges, different sales organizations etc.) anymore.

I checked with someone of the role "Consumer" and he was able to access the filters on the top bar of the dashboard with the default view, but not with the "new process view" where attributes were hidden.

Now because we can filter and hide attributes, I thought maybe I have to create seperate default filters for the dashboard when I select the "new process view" in the dashboard itself. But for me who has access also to the default view (which the consumers don't) I do not see a change when I go to the "new process view".

Is this indented design to remove all global filters on the top bar of a dashboard, or is it a bug?
