How to activated branded ODBC drivers on a Linux environment?

Dear experts,

Does anyone have experience with activating the branded ODBC drivers on a Linux environment? I've been browsing and trying (trial and error) for a week now and I'm not really making any progress with the configuration. I want to make connections (via Universes) to a SQL Server Db, an IBM Db2 and an Oracle Db, among others. Can someone explain to me in 'simple' steps what exactly to configure/activate and where exactly. This is the first installation I have done on a Linux environment and it is a bit different than on Windows. I misjudged it a bit. Hope someone can help me further.

Thank you in advance!

Regards, Marco

I followed the blog below and several KBA's.

Hi Daya,

Thanks for your comment! The connection to the SQL Server is now successful with the extra parameter setting in the env.sh file. How exactly does it work with the connections to DB2 and Oracle. Can this also be done directly without having to install DB2- or Oracle drivers (via data direct branded drivers)? This is not completely clear to me yet.

Thank you in advance!

Regards, Marco
