In the latest release of SAP Mobile Services - OData CSDL Modeler version 1.0.9 in OData CSDL modeler in VSCODE Marketplace, the modeler will use straight lines in the diagram as connectors rather than the curve ones, so it provides a much easier user experience in terms of visualization for medium or large size of CSDL/EDMX model.

The other update of CSDL modeler is that the modeler is available on SAP Business Application Studio now. You can create any types of dev space in SAP Business Application Studio and start to visualize your CSDL/EDMX documents using the modeler in your development environment:
