To upgrade your SAP Focused Run system to the latest Product Version and Feature Pack you need to consider some points:
- You can directly jump to the latest Product Version and Feature Pack. There is no need - if you come from a lower Product Version, like SAP Focused Run 2.0 or SAP Focused Run 3.0 - to first upgrade to SAP Focused Run 4.0 SP00 and then to the latest version.
Example: if you are on SAP Focused Run 3.3 you can directly upgrade to SAP Focused Run 4.2 - We recommend using Maintenance Planner for calculating the necessary files for the upgrade.
- We are providing for every upgrade a „Release Information Note” (short RIN) and a „Update Preparation and Postprocessing Documentation” Note which will provide necessary information about steps to be carried out before, during and after the upgrade.
- The Release Information SAP Note covers information on which software components in which release and which support package are defined to be installed.
- Some support package levels of single software components of the product are fixed, for others you can use the mentioned one or higher.

so for SAP_ABA in this case you can only but have to install 75F SP04. For SAP_GWFND you can install any SP of release 755 higher or equal SP04
