A New Environment
In the past, SAP Mobile Secure was hosted externally. But last November it was decided that it should be an internally-hosted solution. By February, our development team had already established a test environment. And by June, just in time for SAPPHIRE NOW Orlando, we launched with our first pilot customer.

There is also a vibrant community of internal and external users who share cookbooks and readymades, including SAP business solutions. To reduce latency, SAP Mobile Secure runs in three locations: Europe, Eastern U.S., and Western U.S.

Future enhancements to SAP Mobile Secure will include load balancing for one or more instances, as well as an Internet-facing network zone.
