SAP Build Apps is a professional application development solution designed to quickly create apps without code regardless of role or skill level. Using SAP Build Apps customers can build user interfaces easily and compose enterprise-grade custom apps with drag-and-drop functionality.

Customers can also create data models and business logic visually, build cloud services without code and connect to SAP and non-SAP solutions securely with pre-built components, connectors, and integrations.

As you may be aware, one of the ways we empower our customers is via delivery of Expert Guided Implementation (EGI) services. These are multi-day remote delivered session, powered by SAP Enterprise Support Academy and typically delivered over 3-5 working days. In short, this is a Virtual Classroom style session, where an SAP expert explains step-by-step the configuration of a set objective using training materials and step-by-step demonstration.

To help customers get started with SAP Build Apps, we have developed this 4 day Expert Guided Implementation (EGI) service. The purpose of this EGI service is to ramp-up customers to understand and adopt SAP Build Apps. In the first step, we give an overview of application development in the context of SAP Build. Afterwards we show the capabilities of SAP Build Apps and customers learn how to create mobile and web applications, connect to SAP systems, and deploy and run on SAP Business Technology Platform.

Customer requirements to obtain the best value from the service is to have a SAP BTP trial or commercial account, subscription to SAP Apps with SAP Build Apps preview application installed locally on a mobile device. Also, we need IdP configured through SAP Cloud Identity Services. Finally, it would be beneficial for participants to have experience in developing business processes and have a basic knowledge of SAP BTP in advance of the service.
We have just published the next delivery dates for Q2 2024 for the EGI service:
