The launch of the General Availability of SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition on February 15th brought changes end of March. Read this blog post to be aware of the most important changes!
Customers wonder what lies ahead for Process Discovery, Pathfinder on Spotlight, and Spotlight?
For many years, our customers have used the offerings which provided insights into business process performance and benchmarking with industry peers, aiming for a SAP S/4HANA transformation or to optimize business processes. As we remain committed to our goal of continuous improvement, we've made significant progress in developing our offerings to serve our customers so that they can perform at their best.
With the advancement of the general availability of SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition, we need to inform you that it is no longer possible to request Process Discovery, Pathfinder on Spotlight and Spotlight. Keep in mind that the complete sunset was on 31st of March, and in alignment with this decision, all existing analyses were deleted.
With saying goodbye, it is now the best time to get started with the free discovery version for all customers with an SAP maintenance contract.
SAP Process Insights, discovery edition incorporates elements from previous offerings, but it also includes a much wider scope of new features in comparison to process discovery, spotlight, and pathfinder.

- Root cause analysis, helping you to understand where the potential process issue come from and filtering capabilities to focus on a particular area
- Detailed information about indicators of your process performance
- Detailed list of documents
- Blockers and typical process break points (for one process flow)
- Value analysis with estimated monetary benefits. Access this blog for detailed information
- Choose 1 out of 3 process flows
- Now available: 8 languages German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean and English. Get further insights here
We recommend you request the SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition today. Explore the richness of getting to know your process flows as well as process indicators, recommended actions and innovation suggestions based on the latest technology, helping you to improve and gaining most value of your business.
We would like to inform you with an additional remark. The SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition contains the same user interface experiences and comes with the same capabilities as the full edition. The difference is merely the limited scope and data in the discovery edition.
