The SAP Mobile Services team hosted a transformative 2-Day training camp on October 4th and 5th, 2023, uniting 8 esteemed customers and partners at SAP's St. Leon Rot office in Germany. This event was meticulously designed to facilitate the creation of initial versions of mobile applications, tailored to the active landscapes of our customers and partners, seamlessly integrating with their existing back-end data.
The journey began with an immersive workshop, where our customers and partners learned about the core principles of SAP Mobile Services and its powerful SDKs. In this initial phase, participants also learned about advantages of consolidating their mobile experience into a central mobile app with SAP Mobile Start, the ideal entry point for an enterprise user.
Samsung, an industry leader, showcased the incredible possibilities that the latest mobile and wearable devices offer. From monitoring employee health to creating dynamic hybrid workspaces, where mobility seamlessly integrates with stationary workstations, the potential was truly inspiring.
The workshop then transitioned into an intensive design phase, with SAP Design Experts collaborating closely with the teams. Together, they transformed use cases from text into tangible wireframes, prioritizing an intuitive user experience that empowers users to excel in their roles.
The second half of the first day ushered in the development phase. Teams embarked on the journey of turning their designs into reality, expertly adapting back-end systems for mobile use and configuring their solutions. Our mobile experts provided guidance throughout this crucial stage.
A highly productive second day ensued, was interrupted by brief, informative breaks where participants learned in short sessions about best practices for developing and operating their mobile solutions.
