はじめに


 

現在、カスタム開発のアプリケーションおよび SAP Business Suite アプリケーションのための Always-on(HADR)環境構築についてはマニュアルの HADR ユーザーズガイド (英語)に、SAP Business Suite アプリケーションへの 3 番目のノード追加については HADR System と DR ノードユーザーズガイド(英語)に記載されていますが、「既存のカスタム開発の HA システムへの DR ノードの追加」については、記載がありませんでした。

将来的にはマニュアルに追加される方向ですが、カスタム開発システムにおける追加方法について、このブログで紹介します。

HADR および HADR + 3 番目のノードの説明および図については、こちらの SAP ASE 16.0 SP03 による高可用性(HA)+ 災害復旧(DR)の 3 ノード HADR のブログを参照してください。このブログでは、SAP ASE 16.0 SP04PL03 を使用しています。

また、このブログでは、以下のようにいくつかのセクションに分けて説明します。

HADR 構成のコンポーネントは以下の図のとおりです。

 


 

HADR クラスター

HADR のインストールに必要なコンポーネントは全て SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise(ASE)のインストールメディアで提供されています。

3 番目のノードとして DR ノードを追加することで、HADR コンパニオンクラスターに対して災害復旧機能を追加することができます。

ただし、Fault Manager (FM) によるクラスターの監視のメリットはありません。フェールオーバーとフェールバックは HADR クラスターの 2 つのインスタンス間のみです。つまり、DR ノードにSAP Host Agent は必要ありません。

最初の図にあるコンポーネントのように、DR ノードには Replication Management Agent (RMA) と SAP Replication Server (SRS) インスタンスはインストールされていません。

計画されているかどうかにかかわらず、フェールオーバーとフェールバックでは、DR 環境の存在を考慮し、DR ノードデータベース(1 つまたは複数)のためのレプリケーションのソースをアクティブなソースデータベース(1 つまたは複数)に自動的に切り替えます。

HADR + 3 番目のノードを設定する場合には、3 つの ASE インスタンス全てを以下のように設定するように注意してください。

  • ASE sa パスワードが一致すること。

  • RMA DR_admin パスワードが一致すること。

  • RMA DR_maint パスワードが一致すること。

  • マスター db が同じサイズであること (これがレプリケーションされます)。

  • <SID> データベースが全てのインスタンスで作成されること。これは、方法 1 (後述)を使用する場合には自動的に作成されます。方法 2 (後述)を使用する場合、手動または、setup_hadrレスポンスファイルでデータベースはプライマリー、コンパニオン、DR に作成することができます。

  • サーバーページサイズ、文字コード、ソート順が同じであること。




 

プライマリーノードとコンパニオンノードのHADR 構成のインストールと設定(パート1)


 

HADR クラスターのインストールと設定について、2 つの方法を紹介します。

  • インストールメディアから新しい HADR クラスターをインストールして構築する。

  • 既存の ASE プライマリーインスタンスに対して HADR を追加する。


どちらの方法を選択しても、コンパニオンまたはスタンバイノードおよび将来の DRノードは新しい ASEインスタンスである必要があります。主にすでに作成された SUID が競合する可能性があることから、既存のインスタンスは使用できません

どの方法を選択しても、最終的に構築された HADR クラスターは追加の DR ノードを有します。

また、HADR クラスターの作成の際、または後から RMA コマンド経由で HADR システムにユーザーデータベースを追加することも可能です。

簡単に言うと、ASE インストレーションディレクトリーは、/opt/sybase/ASE です。ASE の全てのデータデバイスに関して、データ移動(DM)コンポーネント(SRS)は、以下に示す /data フォルダー下にあります。

どの方法を選択しても、HADR ではバックアップサーバーインスタンスが必要とされます。(AMCでも Job Scheduler が必要とされるため、いずれにしても全てのオープンサーバーが作成されます)。



 

方法 1 – インストールメディアから新しいHADRクラスターをインストールして構築する


 

このメッソッドでは HADR クラスターのどのノードも $SYBASE ディレクトリーには何も存在しないと仮定しています。インストレーションメディアは解凍されており、HADR クラスターに加わるどちらのノードのインストレーションディレクトリーでも利用可能です。

Installing HADR for Custom Applicationですでに説明されていますが、Sample Response Filesで説明されているものと同様の setup.bin レスポンスファイルが提供されています。

また、Adobe Flash を使用する ASE Cockpit は現在非推奨となっているため、これをインストールして設定する必要はありません。

「標準」または「標準的な SAP ASE、データベース Always-on オプション」ではなく、「カスタム」セットアップを選択することで、「fase_amc」機能を使用した AMC をインストールします。ASE HADR データ移動コンポーネント (SRS) は、「fase_hadr」機能とともに追加され、$SYBASE/DM フォルダーに入ります。

この方法で、Fault Manager ノードで必要とされる「SAP Host Agent」もインストールされます。

  • HADR クラスターデータベースがここに作成されます。デフォルトでは $SYBASE/%SYBASE_ASE/data フォルダーになります。

  • ASE sa パスワードが一致すること

  • RMA DR_admin パスワードが一致すること

  • RMA DR_maint パスワードが一致すること


 

どちらのレスポンスファイルも似たものになっています。主な違いは、「HADR_IS_SECONDARY_SITE_SETUP」の行です。これは、プライマリーレスポンスファイルでは、「=false」で、セカンダリーレスポンスファイルでは「=true」である必要があります。

 

HADR プライマリーとコンパニオンをインストールして設定するには、インストレーションディレクトリーに「CD」コマンドで移動し、プライマリーで「./setup.bin -r <response file>」を実行し、次にコンパニオンでもこれを実行します。これで、$SYBASEフォルダーが作成され、作成された様々なサーバーインスタンスが HADR クラスターにコンバートされます。クラスターデータベースは、$SYBASE/$SYBASE_ASE/ データフォルダーに作成されます。

 


方法 2 – 既存の ASE プライマリーインスタンスに対して HADR を追加する


 

この方法は、既存の ASE インスタンスを HADR にコンバートする時に使用することができます。

プライマリーと、コンパニオン(そして将来の DR インスタンス)は同じページサイズ、文字コード、ソート順である必要があるため、続ける前にプライマリー ASE をアップグレードする必要があります。

このブログでは、リソースファイルと srvbuildres/sqllocres ユーティリティーを使用して、プライマリー ASE とそれに関連する Open Server、同様に、コンパニオン ASE とそれに関連する Open Server が作成されます。

この方法では、ソフトウェアがすでに $SYBASE にインストールされていると仮定しています(この場合は /opt/sybase/ASE)。インストールする際には、「SAP Data Movement for HADR」コンポーネントもインストールされていることを確認してください(「カスタム」または「標準的な SAP ASE>、データベース Always-on オプション」をインストール時に選択する必要があります)。

DR ノード「Offsite」がこの環境に追加されました。いずれのフェールオーバーオペレーションにも含まれないため、これのステータスは、常に「Inactive」と表示されます。

 

備考:

 

  • HADR クラスターと追加の DR ノードの作成時に、「max network packet size」は、16384 に設定されます。

  • インターフェースのファイル/エントリーは、インストレーションの $SYBASE/DM フォルダーに存在します。$SYBASE/インターフェースファイルに追加のエントリーは作成されません、また作成する必要もありません。

  • 「ロック数」やキャッシュの設定など、リソース利用のための ASE のインスタンスの適切な設定は、reader/sa/dbo に依存します。
