Accelerating Enterprise Category Strategy Development with Generative AI-Enhanced Content Recommendations
Introducing Dynamic Content Recommendations: a game-changer within our Category Management Application. Empowering category managers, this Large Language Model-integrated feature fills the Market Dynamics, Category Segmentation, and Cost Structures tools with context-aware insights. Say goodbye to laborious research as these tools can now be kick-started with preloaded content, revolutionizing strategy planning in SAP Category Management.
A new button, “Generate with AI” is now available within the tools Category Segmentation, Market Dynamics, and Cost Structure. Category managers can click the Generate with AI button to generate data for the segmentation scores, Porters Five Forces scores or cost structure component percentages within the respective tools. Furthermore the content within Notes, Summary and Additional Resources are prefilled based on content retrieved via artificial intelligence.

Built-In Support in SAP Ariba Category Management for Easy Access to Support Resources
We understand that quick and easy access to support is paramount. That's why we've integrated a built-in support capability within our Category Management solution. Users with SAP S-user accounts can now access our support knowledge base and log support incidents without ever having to leave the application.
Support for Approved Manufacturer Facilities Data in Guided Sourcing
We've addressed a key issue specific to guided sourcing. This feature adds support for retrieving the Approved Manufacturer Facilities (AMF) data for suppliers participating in guided sourcing events created to get material quotes from product sourcing. Buyers can use this information to review the factory details of suppliers before publishing the event. Suppliers bidding for line items in the event can selection the suitable AMF for each line item before placing their bids. This enhancement addresses the need for uniformity and provides a seamless experience for users in Guided sourcing. UI Option to Enable the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) for Public Sector Sourcing
To simplify processes for our public sector users, we've introduced a UI option to enable the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD). ETendering Administrators can now enable ESPD with just a few clicks.
Disable User Group Creation in Contract Workspaces and Guided Sourcing Projects
In response to compliance issues raised by customers, we've introduced a feature that enables template administrators to prevent event owners from creating new user groups in contract workspaces and in sourcing requests, events, and projects in guided sourcing.
Ability to Create SAP Business Network Discovery Postings for Guided Sourcing
This new feature empowers buyers using guided sourcing to create and publish SAP Business Network Discovery postings for public- and private-sector events directly from the guided sourcing experience. This enhancement opens up opportunities for new suppliers to find posting details and express intent to participate.

Scoutbee Supplier Discovery™ Integration with Guided Sourcing
We're excited to announce the integration of Scoutbee Supplier Discovery™ with guided sourcing. With this feature, customers can discover new suppliers by publishing the supplier discovery demand request to Scoutbee Supplier Discovery™, boosting the effectiveness of their sourcing processes.
Dynamic Sourcing Library Lot Definition Enhancements
Our Dynamic Sourcing Library now allows customers to automatically add lot definitions to sourcing events when specific rule conditions are met. This feature eliminates manual effort and enhances the flexibility of the sourcing process.
