I've been following the details about the Innovation Weekend in Berlin (Hot vs Cold Innovation: Thoughts on the TechEd in Berlin) and in Las Vegas. I thoroughly enjoyed the 30 hours. The event has been evolving and I was curious to see what happens when it took place in Bangalore. I then looked at the site for Bangalore and was surprised to see that there was no Innovation Weekend planned!
I thought it would be ideal to give the participants in Bangalore a chance to participate in the event. There is still enough time until the event (which takes place on Dec 1-3) to plan an Innovation Weekend. I think what SAP needs is a sign of interest from the community.
Note: I'm not planning on attending the TechEd in Bangalore. Some might be curious why as I'm even interested in what happens there. I think such events are critical to push innovation within SAP and its ecosystem - thus, I'm interested in promoting them whenever possible.
Of course, there might be problems involved. Below find a list of possible problems with proposed solutions.

Laptops with the TechEd image might not be available for InnovationWeekend | Just focus on the On-Demand solutions that are available (StreamWork, River, BI-OnDemand, etc). |

The conference venue isn't available for use on Sunday and Monday | Ask local companies to sponsor the event. |
Based on the #nataschatoteched - A tale of two cities. of the use of social media to get Natascha Thomson to come to the SAP Teched in Las Vegas, SAP is obviously aware of the importance of such tools. Now, the attendees in Bangalore have the opportunity to show their interest in bringing Innovation Weekend to their event.
