SAP University Alliances organized the SAP Data Visualization Jam jointly with the SAP Lumira team at SAP Labs Bangalore. The day long “Visualization Jam” was an excellent opportunity and an enriching experience for students to LEARN about the Business Intelligence and Analytics tools from SAP. Over 100 students from top UA schools in Bangalore to participate in this event. SAP Lumira team conducted hands-on session on Lumira for the students and also explained the students how analytics has evolved over the years to give collective insights to end users. After the interactive sessions the student teams worked with the datasets to APPLY the knowledge of SAP Lumira and SHARE the storyboards revealing insights from the datasets.
During these sessions SAP Lumira team moved around and interacted with student teams, also evaluating the storyboards to select the winners of the jam. The participating teams also presented their storyboards to the audience. A quiz session was also organized where the students responded enthusiastically and won few Ipod shuffles.
