In Opportunity Marketplace (OPM) users can select areas of interest and view Assignments (Broaden your Experience), Learnings (Learn New Skills), Mentorings (Connect with people), Career Development Recommendations (Explore Career Options), Dynamic Teams and internal job postings matched to your interests, competencies and skills. With the support of SAP Business AI, OPM will now recommend assignments (Top Picks for you!), learning, positions and jobs to employees based on available data from these modules as well as profile information and user behavior.
Please note: To benefit from the Top Pics you need to enable Intelligent Recommendations which is only possible once you have > 100 active assignments, > 1000 bookmarks and >100 active users of OPM.
With Talent Intelligence Hub activated in your system, the Skills ("I am interested in") come from your Growth Portfolio. There you can define which areas you are interested in. By select specific skills when visiting the marketplace, matching assignments, learnings etc. will be recommended to you.
Interesting Use Case: Create an assignment, publish it and receive applications
Imagine your company is about to implement SF Opportunity Marketplace together with an SAP Partner. As an internal Project Lead you want to find two internal Key Users with passion for and experience in development topics to support the project and work together closely with the Partner.
Based on your permission settings (Opportunity Marketplace is controlled via RBPs) you create a Project Opportunity as assignment and publish it in on to the marketplace. You can also share it directly with colleagues via the new Share-Button.
Your assignment will be recommended to colleagues with matching interests and skills and they can apply for it.
Applications can be assessed based on provided attachments and on matched skills, offers can be sent and assignments can be easily filled with internal talents or applications can be declined.
