SD Pricing based on delivery route

Hi SD community,

I have a scenario where a client wants to be able to have a freight condition assigned based on the route. This condition should be able to be overwritten at any stage.

Can anyone advise on how to determine a pricing condition based on route? That is VBAP-ROUTE?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

In pricing field catalogue, you need to add the route field and this access sequence be assigned to your pricing condition type

I cannot see route as an available option in the field catalogue in VOK0, am I missing something here?

As mentioned you will have to add the Field ROUTE in Pricing Field Catalog via enhancement. Then you can add this Field to Price Access Sequence and another enhancement will be needed in Sales Order and Invoice programs to update the value of Route in Pricing Communication structures.

Just search the forum for adding a Field to Pricing Field Catalog and you will get necessary information.
