GRDC Derive Period from file and not from global parameters

Hi Community,

If i import a data file, the period where the data is imported is not the period that is defined in the file, but the period in my Global Parameters. Is it possible to change that? In this setup, the danger is quit big that data is uploaded in the incorrect period.

Dear Customer,

You can define it in your mapping file actually. The data will be uploaded based on your mapping relationship in the file. So do the period.

Global parameters would not impact your period if you have defined it in your mapping file.

I don't know why this happened in your side. Have you checked your mapping file?

If you cannot found the issue, you can raise an incident in component FIN-CS-CDC-DAM.

Thanks for your answer Jerry. I did map to fiscal year and fiscal period in the mapping file, but stil, the data is imported in the period defined in the global parameters. Currently i create this mapping based on a formula (for example i have to map 2204 to 2022 and period 004). I wil try what happens if i use a fixed mapping.
