We have SAP Asset Manager 2310 on ERP 6.0 EPH 7 + Oracle DB. When synchronization action is running, database deadlock occurs randomly. Error:
CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB:The database returned the SQL code 60. The error text is: ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource.
Sometimes I have 10x successful synchronization in a row without any error. Sometimes I have 1 success, then 5 fails, then a success again, fails again and so on randomly. I noticed the problem occurs always in batches where multiple different entities are downloaded.
Can you give me some advice on how to prevent database deadlocks in SAM? Should I split batches? Take out the problematic Entity Set to separate batch? It would slow down the sync process. Or maybe increase some timeout?
