Dear All,
When using SAP Readiness Check in your own SAP Cloud ALM tenant, you can now set up references between findings in SAP Readiness Check for SAP BW/4HANA and project and task management within SAP Cloud ALM.
With this integration functionality, you can create new and assign existing follow-ups to your SAP Readiness Check analysis findings and manage these follow-ups in the specified SAP Cloud ALM project.
As with my similar SAP Cloud ALM integration announcements, this capability leverages the SAP Readiness Check Integration app in SAP Cloud ALM. My recent blog entitled “Integration of SAP Readiness Check for SAP S/4HANA to CALM Project and Task Management (PTM)” (link) provides step-by-step guidance on how to use the SAP Readiness Check Integration app.
Within the SAP Readiness Check for SAP BW/4HANA, the following analyses allow the assignment of findings to an SAP Cloud ALM project:
- Object Compatibility
- Source System Readiness
- Custom Code Compatibility
- Add-On Compatibility
In the analysis details, you can create follow-ups per finding or assign findings to existing follow-ups.
When you create a new follow-up, you select a target project to assign the follow-up and provide a follow-up title.
Clicking on the Create button completes the assignment of the follow-up item to the project.
The link created in the follow-up column within the SAP Readiness Check analysis results opens a detailed view of the user story or requirement in the assigned SAP Cloud ALM project. You can edit the follow-up, for example, assign a responsible team or person, add test cases, create sub-tasks, and track the progress of each assigned item.
