Same datatype fields not matching in combined datasource

Dear Experts,

We have one Custom BO where the details are maintained manually by users. In this object we have a list field similar to Qualification in Lead object. (we are using similar code list field type as used for Std field Qualification)

Custom BO:

As per the Requirement we need to compare and show the data in a single report with No.of Leads available in each Qualifications.

Expected Report is

But the issue is once we created the Combined data source (Lead + Custom BO) with Qualification field as a join, then descriptions of the custom qualification is not appearing in the combined data source. Means we are getting the result as shown below,

Also note: We tried to bring in the description from Language adaptation. But it is not possible as the descriptions are not identifiable for the system.

Please show some light on this issue as we tried all possible ways, but non of the option is providing the expected result.
