Contact Creation via Emarsys API

Hello Experts,

Can we create new contacts in Emarsys without passing the Email id using Emarsys API? if yes, please let us know how we can achieve this.

Currently when we try to create new contact using API without email id giving below error

Hi deerastogi,

You can create contact without using emailID. However, you have to provide some other field as key ID for creation of the contact. i.e. external ID/ECC ID etc. By using these ID field you will be able to create contact. From your screenshot, I can see that you have provided Key ID as 3 i.e. email and hence it cannot be kept as blank. Please use any other Key ID and provide its value. With that you don't have to provide email ID for creation of contact.
