How to analyse a BSP exception?

Hi,

we did a upgrade from CRM70 to CRM70 EHP1.

Now we are not able to open a service request because of a BSP exception. There is no shortdump in ST22.

The exception text is:

Business Server Page (BSP) error   What happened? Calling the BSP page was terminated due to an error.

SAP Note   The following error text was processed in the system: BSP exception: An attribute with the name "BTACTIVITYH" is not defined

Exception Class CX_BSP_INV_ATTR_NAME Error Name Program CL_BSP_PAGE_BASE==============CP Include CL_BSP_PAGE_BASE==============CM014 ABAP Class CL_BSP_PAGE_BASE Method IF_BSP_PAGE~SET_ATTRIBUTE Line 16 Long text -

Error type: Exception Your SAP Business Server Pages Team

Could one of you experts please guide me how to analyse this and how to find and solve the issue?

Hi Manfred,

You may check if you have maintained Page attribute at BSP page level(in .htm) for context node BTACTIVITYH. That should resolve the problem.

1. Double click on your view's .htm file
2. Select Page Attributes and then insert a line for for your context node.

   Go to page attributes of your component and check if BTACTIVITYH is available there.

   If not you have to define it.
