Over the last year, I have been busy building up a small team with the goal of delivering security ideas to SAP customers. We are small (or agile as some of you may say) with great ambition to become a industry trend-setter in security.
The whole concept starts off like this: SAP has a strong reputation in security research. We have excellent ideas and collaborations with different partners, academics, and industry peers. We have many award-winning, and publish-/patent-worthy accomplishments. Our team aims to take a step further to push these ideas in to real-world applications.
To start off, we adopt lean start-up concepts. Lean start-up is not new and has been taught by many business schools in recent years. While we do not intend to venture out of SAP, the core value we adopt is to focus on building a minimum viable product (MVP) while adjusting and revising our hypothesis and ideas with our customers.
