PARTNER MEETUP EVENT







On November 9, 2016 SAP Integration and Certification Center hosted its third Partner Meetup Event of the year at the SAP Palo Alto campus in California. This event is focused on providing current SAP ICC Certified partners with relevant product updates from SAP and to give them the opportunity to personally meet the ICC team in Palo Alto. Additionally, the ICC team took the time to hear from partners on how to improve SAP ICC and the overall partner certification process.

The event was extremely successful, as close to thirty local partners attended the event. In addition to the amazing deep dish pizza, freshly brewed coffee, and homemade desserts served at the event, here are some of the other event highlights:

A formidable list of keynote speakers:

  • Elijah Martinez, had an extremely informative discussion regarding API Management on SAP HANA Cloud Platform, which enables simplified provisioning of secure and scalable APIs. APIs provide external business, partners, and independent developers a simple way of integrating with your SAP applications, opening the door to the digital era.



  • Balaji Krishna, discussed SAP HANA Vora, which is an in-memory, massively distributed data processing engine for interacting with Big Data in Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark. This session provided an overview of the SAP HANA Vora engine, including solution architecture details, and significant use-case scenarios.



  • Scott Steadman, took the audience through the newly formed Apple and SAP Partnership and helped explained some of the new benefits which included; the redesign of the business-critical workflows and processes to have mobility at their core, delivery of tools to accelerate the development of transformative apps, and the creation of a training academy to educate the SAP developer community on the new tools and iOS.
