My colleague marcusm asked me to join his "Blog it Forward" challenge.  I think it is a great way to learn the blogging process on SCN.

I’m an Industry Principal in SAP’s T&L industry, with a focus in North America (NA) on the Passenger Transportation and the Travel & Leisure Industry segments. Here are the questions he asked me to answer:

What was your dream job as a kid?

As a kid I always wanted to be a NASA astronaut; I grew up during the transition, as NASA moved from the capsule-based launches to the re-usable Space Shuttle – a spacecraft that glided back to earth like an airplane – what a cool, awesome job to have!

What is your favorite place in the world?

There are too many places that I love; it’s simply too hard to identify one favorite.  I like the different scenery, climate and diversity in culture that exists in our world.  I really like San Diego, CA, it has a wonderful climate for year-around living and New York city, which is an amazingly complex, exciting place, with so many (many) fabulous restaurants… A recent tour in South America showed me there are also wonderful places in Latin America as well -- Buenos Aires and São Paulo, just to mention a few…

What was the most fun project you ever participated in and why?

Raising my son and daughter is the most fun project I’ve ever participated in (of course, it’s still on-going)…Yes, it definitely has it challenges; however, it’s amazing to watch them grow and to realize how much they rely on you to teach them about their world.  Bradley has just turned seven and his little sister is now 3 ½.  It seems like only yesterday they were “6 lbs, 11 ounces”….friends, which have children that are grown and on there own, tell me that parenting never ends; therefore, it’s a life-long project so I guess you have to make it fun.

In keeping the BIF going, I am asking the following questions:

  1. What was your dream job as a kid?
  2. What is your favorite place in the world?
  3. What was the most fun project you ever participated in and why?
