Congratulations to North American Run SAP Implementation Partner, GROM, who was recently awarded the distinction of ‘Cool Vendor in Application Services, 2012’ by Gartner. GROM earned this distinction by way of their AMS/ALM Maturity Model. GROM has developed a maturity model that assists clients in implementing progressively more advanced functions of SAP Solution Manager in a phased approach. In phase 1, the GROM TotalAccess NaviGate portal provides user-friendly access to service desk functionality that is incorporated with GROM’s consulting support services. This allows customers to preview and use SAP Solution Manager without upfront investment on their part. In phase 2, GROM customizes the client’s own service desk toolset and enables them to promote tickets between their own service desk and GROM’s. Finally, in phase 3, GROM integrates additional SAP Solution Manager tools with the clients SAP system. This phased approach ensures the proper integration of the solution with the rest of the business’s solution landscape and accurate knowledge hand-off to the client.
