What’s happening in Sales Order Fulfillment?
Sales Order Fulfillment app (F0029) has been replaced with a new and improved version. As of SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2108, the app and its corresponding tiles will be deleted from the SAP Fiori launchpad. This document provides a general overview of the Sales Order Fulfillment app and what’s been improved in the latest version – F0029A.
The Sales Order Fulfillment – Analyze and Resolve Issues app (F0029A) offers the user a list of all sales orders that cannot be completed for one or more reasons. With the Sales Order Fulfillment – Analyze and Resolve Issues app the internal sales representative is provided with an easy and fast overview of the current order fulfillment – highlighting impediments, providing supporting information and offering specific options to resolve issues.
The app is addressed to Internal sales representatives, enabling them to: monitor, manage and collaborate on issues in sales orders, supply, deliveries, invoices, international trade regulations or due to product compliance.
What are the business benefits?
The Sales Order Fulfillment – Analyze and Resolve Issues app provides full insights into all issues of the order-to-cash process, drawing attention to the most critical issues.
It enables the decision preparation via communication and collaboration with internal and external partners (contacts, email, telephony).
It offers the possibility to run actions directly and track the solution progress.
It combines analytical insights with operational actions.
it visualizes key performance indicators (KPI’) including thresholds and alerts in real-time.
What’s different for the user?
The SAP Sales Order Fulfillment – Analyze and Resolve Issues app provides a new user experience and working model for internal sales representatives, including;
- Role-based access to all relevant information such as; KPIs, news feeds and specific tasks.
- A new working model supporting end to end insight to action scenarios.
- Users can easily adapt the user interface to their needs based on drag and drop, and a powerful tile catalog.
- Color-coded visualization of violated thresholds.
- SAP Smart Business is an open framework. Users can define their own KPIs and integrate with collaboration and analytical tools or existing applications. SAP Smart Business also works seamlessly across devices – desktop, tablet or smart phone.
With the filter bar users can toggle between a compact and a visual filter. Users can typically filter on issue, issue category, sales organization, sold-to party, requested delivery date, and many more, such as potential issues or horizon next action. Instead of providing users with a pre-delivered set of tiles, users can create their own variants and save them as a tile on their SAP Fiori launchpad.
This allows internal sales representatives to monitor sales orders in critical stages, collaborate with internal and external contacts, and efficiently address issues to ensure that sales orders in critical stages are fulfilled as quickly as possible.
What type of Issues can be resolved?
The following is a list of issues commonly encountered by internal sales representative that can be resolved, with this one app:
- Incomplete data
- Unconfirmed quantities
- Credit blocks
- Billing blocks
- Delivery blocks in sales orders and other delivery issues
- Shipping blocks in deliveries and other shipping issues
- Invoice issues and accounting issues for invoices
- Issues in supply, in purchase and manufacturing order
- Issues due to international trade regulations
- Issues due to product compliance
The SAP Sales Order Fulfillment – Analyze and Resolve Issues app enables the user with the possibility to; post goods issue, execute an availability check, remove billing blocks, reject sales orders and line items, create delivery documents and invoices, generate accounting documents, release and re-check credit blocks and more.
What’s New for CE2105?
Approval Status and Approval Request Reason
The approval status and approval request reason is now displayed in the header section of sales documents for example sales order, debit memo request and sales order related issues.
This allows you to immediately sees whether a sales document is in approval, which means that further processing of the sales document (including creation of follow-up documents) is blocked.
New Issue: Supply Issue in Sales Orders
This issue occurs if a purchase requisition has not yet been transformed into a purchase order in third-party processing in Purchasing (that is, the purchase order is missing for the sales order).
Navigation to Schedule Line for all Item Issues in Track Sales Order Details
It is now possible to navigate to the schedule lines for all item issues. Schedule line details can be displayed for the entire fulfillment process, for sales orders and for issues.
Schedule line information such as requested and confirmed delivery quantities can be displayed.

Great info - thanks Gerard! One question on the Approval Status and Approval Reason - would this allow you to see the history of approvals? I.e. in a two level approval to see if it's pending on step 2 rather than step 1 for example?
