Barely one more sleep until SAP TechEd round two in Barcelona. Are you ready?
I should stop right now and tell you that is my first SAP TechEd and I’m eager to meet lots of you, excited to
engage with you and ready to be mind blown by the unlimited possibilities of technology.
Here’s a selfie I took today at the professional headshot booth (sans photographer); check back later this week for my official professional headshot.
Check out this short
video with
craig.cmehil to find out what’s on the table for tomorrow and how you can engage. And yes, that’s right, he did say you could try out ABAP PaaS.
Next stop, Community Lounge!
Update (in case you missed it): earlier this year, the Community team became the Community & Influencers team and moved into a larger team now referred to as Developer & Community Relations.
You can find me and the rest of the Community & Influencers team in the Community Lounge, located on show floor space in the Developer Garage (where you’ll be able to complete some tutorials for a chance to win some cool prizes!).
The Community lounge is where the Community magic happens. Check out Former Member’s
blog from SAP TechEd Las Vegas for an overview of various sections of the Developer Garage and for a general idea of the engagement activities that we’ve got set up for you within each area. This will help you prepare to hit the ground running tomorrow after Bjorn’s highly anticipated
keynote.
On the agenda
Additionally, here are some relevant sessions to look for
tomorrow on day one in Barcelona.
- Engagement superstars and SAP Mentors christian.braukmller4 and Former Member present their Community Showcase “Best Practices for Interaction Within the Community” to help you amp up your engagement post-event. Here’s a full list of the Community Showcases for the week.
- Join the CodeJams: Read krishna.dalal’s blog to find out how, when and where you can code, connect and collaborate with SAP CodeJam (mini-editions) sessions at SAP TechEd Barcelona.
I took some photos today to give you a visual cue of each area. The Developer Garage is at the back of the show floor on the right-hand side. Come on over!
I’ll also be meeting up with some of
Developer and Community Heroes and
tutorial contest and
scholarship contest winners from our SAP TechEd attendance giveaways. Stay tuned for more updates on
Facebook and
Twitter (are you following us?) as I’ll be sharing those interviews with you on these channels.
Follow the #SAPCommunity hashtag to stay up to date on the week’s events. And be sure to use the hashtags #SAPCommunity and #SAPTechEd to share your photos from the event and engage with us online. Share the Community love with your likes, retweets, replies, I’m looking forward to swapping experiences with you all!
