It's a good practice to regularly install the Support Package stacks that are released by SAP. By doing this, you can avoid errors that have already been corrected for your SAP solution. I found some notes are usually updated when a new SP or patch is released.  They could be generally used for a quick reference.

For ME 5.2 and 6.0, the following 2 notes are updated with the highest SP and patch level released:

1334061 - SAP ME 5.2

1594439 - SAP ME 6.0

For ME 6.1 and 15.0, it seems each SP has a separate note.  They are upated when a new patch of that SP level is released.  In case a new SP is released, a new note may be created.  Then you may have to search for the new note.  Key words like "SAP ME 6.1" "release" "information" "note" can be used.

1864044 - SAP ME 6.1 SP02

1906392 - SAP ME 6.1 SP03

1928908 - SAP ME 6.1 SP04

2080799 - SAP ME 15.0 SP01

2093912 - SAP ME 15.0 SP02

2109159 - SAP ME 15.0 SP03

These notes contain the required SP and patch level for NW, MII and other additional components.  Make sure they are checked before upgrading your ME system.

In the section "References", you can see a list of notes for old ME releases.  After opening the note for each SP and patch, in the section "References", you'll see a list of notes which document the changes made by that ME version.

Attention:

The listed notes may be incomplete if a new ME SP is released.  They are just for a quick reference.  To make sure you get the latest SP and Patch, check the current available installation file on the service market place.
