SAP HANA Cloud Portal Movie Critic : SAP Cloud Portal and it’s integrity
I recently stepped into the HANA world by registering into SAP HANA cloud and been learning the things then. So, I would say that I’m really new to the HANA world.
However, when I joined SCN and came across this “SAP HANA Cloud Portal Movie Critic Challenge” I couldn’t resist myself from watching all the videos. Even though I wasn’t able to get through most of the them, but with my knowledge on the HANA, I thought of posting a blog with my insights in it. So here are my thoughts on one of the movies that I viewed.
The movie that I’m reviewing is this.
Movie : SAP Cloud Portal Overview
Duration : 0:56
In this video I came across some key aspects of the SAP cloud portal which are :
Easily Customized : This really attracted me because the cloud portal is designed in such a way that it is suitable for all the individuals coming from different backgrounds.
Easy creation of sites : Creation of sites is easily shown (just by drag & drop) in the video “SAP Cloud Portal – How to build sites” (which I couldn’t share it here) shows how easily we can build our own sites with all the business content enabled in it.
The most important part of this video is that the portal is designed for mobile consumption as well. So now I can able to access the cloud account through my phone, which is really exciting 😛 .
Leveraging On-Premise Assets : As I’m currently I’m using Eclipse IDE where I could able to connect the Hana Trial instances to it. So, the integrity is maintained very strong in this cloud portal.
Also, the background music of the video is outstanding which makes the viewers more interested in watching them.
Finally, at the end of the video I saw that there is a small mistake in the spelling of the NetWeaver which is spelt as NetWaver.
Conclusion : I’d recommend all the SAP users, especially beginners to view all the videos and try the “SAP HANA Cloud Portal 2014 Movie Challenge”.
