It was a Saturday Morning when i reached my hometown after working for around 4 months continuously my happy weekend had arrived finally as i reached my hometown for the weekend relaxation as i was travelling back i meet one guy he was dressed in old type outfit he was in dhoti and shirt he was not that old but too i think because of some of his personal reason he was in that outfit. I was almost 1 hr away from my home as i was travelling in a local transport that guy was sitting besides me as it was early morning the bus in which I was travelling was not at all crowded.
Looking at me the guy said : Ram Ram Babu. Bhar gau se ho.( Hello are you a visitor ).
For that I replied : Nahi Bhai isi gau ka hu kam ke karan bhar gau mai rehtha hu. ( No I am from this city only due to work I live outside )
Guy : Acha Bhai bhar gau kya kam karte ho ( Ok what you work in other city ).
Me : S.A.P Consultant Hu bhai.( I am SAP Consultant )
Guy: Kese Pi ?? ( Ese Pi in hindi means Drink Like this ... So he ask how to drink ?)
" To his reply I was shocked for a moment but after a while i realized he is a layman and might not know about SAP"
Me : Nahi Bhai mai bhar gau me Software Engineer hu computer pe kam karta hu. ( No I am Software Engineer work on computers )
" I said this so that he gets an idea about my job i do "
Guy: O Acha acha tik hai bahi. Aur batavo hava pani kesa hai vaha pe ( ok ok how is the environment in your city).
Me : Sab badiya hai ( All is good ).
" Then that guy got down as the bus arrived his destination i had to move on ."
" Then I was thinking about the reply which he gave me when i said I am an SAP Consultant , we are in 21st Century but the people around has not much developed the software which makes the big multinational firms to grow their profit by using this SAP Software is not known to many people who live in a remote places."
At the same time i was laughing on the reply too how a man can interpret the words from others mouth and relate it to the place which is nowhere related .
At the same time i realized the guy was from the same place were I was born and grown up but I got opportunity to get explored to new technology and reached a level in life but due to lack of opportunity he was unable to.
Hey friends this is simple story for fun but it gave me a message if given an opportunity a person can achieve anything if he takes that opportunity in a right way and work for it.
I see many people lack in understanding the opportunity and let it go but the fact of life is without any opportunity you cannot come up in life ..
Hope all of us make a best use of opportunities which we get .. and try to convert each and every opportunity to more related opportunity which can lead us to explore more new things.ALL THE BEST :smile:
