The details mentioned here are for Mobile Sales 4.0. Some of these settings are also valid for 5.0.

Transaction type is not used in the Marketing component in Mobile Sales, so the Status Profile, Factory Calendar and Planning Profile Group have to be selected manually. The Factory Calendars are maintained at spro -> SAP Web Application Server -> General Settings -> Maintain Calendar. The Planning Profile Group determines the Planning which are valid for the document (and the Planning tilesets will be enabled / disabled based on the selected Planning Profile Group). The Planning Profile Group is maintained at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Key Figure Planning -> Define Planning Profile Groups.

The Priority of the Campaign or Trade Promotion can be specified and the possible values for Priority are maintaned at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Basic Data -> Define Priorities for Marketing Elements. The Communication Media used for executing the Campaign can be maintained at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Campaign Execution -> Define Communication Medium. Authorization Group stipulates which group of persons can access a marketing element and the Groups can be maintained at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> General Settings -> Define Authorization Group. Buying Pattern can be specified for a Trade Promotion and the customizing is maintained at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Basic Data -> Define Default Buying Pattern Types.

The Higher Level Object is a read-only field and it specifies the higher level object as displayed in the Hierarchy tileset. It is also possible to assign an existing Campaign to a Trade Promotion in the Assigned Campaign field.

In addition to the Planned and Actual dates, it is also possible to maintain additional date ranges. These will be visible if they are maintained at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Basic Data -> Define Additional Date Ranges.

In the case of Trade Promotion, it is possible to create a Target Group based on the Business Partner or Hierarchy Node selected. The Target Group will consist of the Business Partner if Customer Type is Business Partner and in the case of Hierarchy Node, the Target Group will consist of all Business Partners assigned to the node and the child nodes. Before the Target Group is created the Business Partners are checked for Sales Area validity also.
