End-to-End Processes

End-to-end processes can be described as a chain of process steps or subprocesses that support the realization of a business outcome, starting from the beginning to the conclusion of a process in your business. These processes comprise several steps or phases and often extend across different departments or functional areas within an organization.

In a nutshell, viewing end-to-end processes enables business decision makers to drive continuous improvement, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve better business outcomes because the system proposes correction and innovation recommendations based on the latest technology to improve a specific process where it identified blockers, causing inefficiencies.

Once logged to your analysis, you can access the various end-to-end processes by clicking on “End-to-end Processes” on the left Menu.

SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition displays seven end-to-end processes: Idea to Market, Source to Pay, plan to Fulfill, Lead to Cash, Acquire to Decommission, Governance, and Finance.

Modular Processes

Modular processes are specific components or segments within an end-to-end business process that can be individually analyzed, optimized, and managed. They represent distinct stages or subprocesses that contribute to achieving the overall business outcome. In the context described, modular processes are the detailed steps or activities within each of the broader end-to-end processes, such as Lead to Cash, Source to Pay, and others.
