Our first #askSAP Analytics Innovations Community Call for 2019 did not disappoint. On February 28 more than 750 people from around the world joined us online to hear from SAP solution experts on the strategy and roadmap for SAP Analytics.
tammy.powlas3, SAP Mentor and Senior Business Analyst at Fairfax Water, did an excellent job as moderator teeing up the discussion and providing our panelists with tantalizing questions. Speaking of the panelists, Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Ty Miller, and Adrian Westmoreland shared a wealth of information on analytics topics and products ranging from key investment areas for 2019, SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3, and augmented analytics in the cloud.

Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Global Vice President Product Management, SAP Analytics Cloud, GTM, kicked things off with a vision of where SAP Analytics is going in 2019 and in the future. He also shared key investment areas, talked about maximizing value from hybrid analytics and shared some news about SAP BW/4HANA 2.0.
Next up was Ty Miller, VP of Product Management, SAP Analytics Cloud, who shared some recent updates and road map for SAP Analytics Cloud. Highlights include augmented analytics road map, an update on the mobile strategy, and new application design features.
Not to be outdone, Adrian Westmoreland, Product Management SAP Analytics Cloud, lead the discussion on hybrid options for analytics. He explained how advances in remote data connections help maximize existing on-premise investment, show the key themes for the upcoming SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3 solution, and touch on the flexibility that comes with SAP’s Cloud Extension Policy.
