I think it may be tough to answer this, as there is both comes with pros and cons, here are both
Cloud for Agility and Scalability:
Pros: Cloud providers like SAP constantly manage and optimize hardware, often leading to strong performance.
Cons: Network latency can impact performance, especially for geographically dispersed users.
On-Premise for Control and Customization:Pros: Direct control over hardware allows fine-tuning for specific needs, potentially leading to top performance for your unique setup.
Cons: Requires significant IT investment to maintain and upgrade hardware, impacting agility.
