Dear MDG Experts, please help us!
Someone could assist and point me in the right direction because I have so many paths I don’t know which to follow.
I don’t know what questions I should do and am unable to begin my search due to the abundance of information accessible.
We have a BTP account with Cloud Integration plan Basic (formerly CPI) and an SAP RISE S/4HANA 2021 with MDG APPL version 806.
First, we must create business partners (customers) from Salesforce into MDG.
Second, let external systems know when a BP in the MDG is changed as a result of a “change request”.
Which API should I employ for these tasks, I wonder?
Until now:
1 - We discovered the Data Replication Framework (DRF), a SOAP API that makes use of soamanager, however it requires an SLD that our landscape does not have.
2 - We discovered an Odata API that generates direct BP in S4; however, the BP created didn’t appear on MDG.
3 - Additionally, we discovered a Master Data Governance Application Programming Interface Guide, which describes how to create a proxy and encode an API using ABAP classes and generating a proxy.
So please could you give some general direction on which direction is the best to proceed?
