What is the next product of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) 4.3? Is it still on-prem?

So I ask here again (Technology Q&A seems like the correct group, I guess?), hope this friendly community can answer my question again, then I can keep this Q&A here for longer time for long-term reference.

We are using BOBI 4.3 on premise. i.e. installed in our own servers in our own data centre, not on SAP's cloud or AWS or MS Azure. And we hope to keep it that way for now.

We are planning the future of our system, hence studying the future of SAP BOBI product, and found below link, information as at Sep2023, just half year ago :

We mainly use 1 functionality of BOBI: use Java API to call BOBI remotely over network, to generate .pdf report from .rpt template file. This feature should still be available in BOBI 2025, right?

Hi Idanon,

Next version, SAP BusinessObjects BI 2025, planned for end of 2024, will be available both on premise and as private cloud, and will be supported until at least end of 2031.

Please refer to SAP Analytics Business Intelligence Statement of Direction which remains the reference for SAP BusinessObjects long term strategy and regularly updated.

To you second question, yes, Java APIs will remain available.
