What are steps and prerequisite to create a content repository using CMIS as a content server

Hi Team,

I am new to SAP Hana, and here I am trying to creating a content repository (using /nOAC0 tcode) with storage type as "CMIS Content Server", but I am not sure what are prerequisites for this.

following are steps I did - 

1. go to /nOAC0 tcode and entered respective details and selected Document Area as ArchiveLink and storage type as 'CMIS Content Server'
2. next, I entered value of RFC destination, here I tried to create a new RFC destination using 
a. TYPE G (Http Connections to external server) - when I created this (using /nSM59), it got saved but with error or warning message as 'Direct Connect to host:port failed'
b. TYPE 3 (ABAP connections) - here I did created a RFC destination but when I used this in RFC destination field of #2, then it was giving 'Permission Denied, Check destination {destination_name}'
3. resulting I am unable to create a Content Repository using CMIS as Content Server

I need your expertise in above problem scenario I am having and also on following questions -

1. what and which RFC destination connection type needs to used, also do we need a certificate for the given server
2. how to properly create a RFC destination
3. How this CMIS content server is different from HTTP content server
