We currently run about 10 different financial reports, export them to pdf, and then compile them using adobe acrobat to make a single pdf. We encounter extra pages, pdfs in the wrong order, pages with footers and not, have to renumber and other issues. Since we do this so much, I would really like to automate this process somehow so that each report is run in the right order and ends with a compiled, properly numbered pdf. I thought of putting each report onto a single tab of a new massive report but web doesnt allow you to copy one report to another and I dont think I could get it to work due to complexity. So I am wondering if there are third party tools, or programmable features of Webi, something like a macro or other, that would allow me to create a script to do this. Any direction would be appreciated.
Check out InfoBurst from InfoSol. InfoBurst Publish in particular...
I do not use this product, but it seems like it would be worth you taking a look.
