Upgrade Tomcat on the old versions of SAP BI Platform and SAP FIM.

We need to upgrade Tomcat on our SAP BO systems.

We use –

serv1) BI platform Server 4.0 SP4 (+DataServices 4.0) on Tomcat 6.0.24 (use Webi, LiveOffice)

serv2) FIM 10 SP11 (+DataServices 4.0) on Tomcat 6.24.

Our security team ask us to upgrade Tomcat to last 8.0 version.

Can you help me, is that possible to upgrade Tomcat from 6.0.24 to 8.0 version on that old BO products? (BOE, DS, FIM)

What the previous answers mean is that NO, you cannot upgrade your current tomcat to tomcat 8, because the version of SAP products you have now does not support tomcat 8.

Hello,

Both the product versions in question are out of support (including priority one).

Highly recommend you to upgrade to latest & supported versions of the BIP & DS.
