Transaction Code SM01 obsolete

Dear SAP Gurus,

While accessing SM01 transaction code for locking/unlocking transaction codes on SAP ECC 6.0 server (IDES) (EHP8), I got an error message "Transaction SM01 is now obsolete (See SAP Note 2234192)."

Please provide me details regarding, which transaction code or functionality has been introduced in place of SM01.

Also, please provide further details/documentation related to SAP Note 2234192).

You don't have access to the note, do you?

In short (i don't want to copy the whole note here, could be a copyright issue): we have now the new tcodes SM01_DEV and SM01_CUS. The first one is typically used by SAP and partners (software vendors), the second one by customers. SM01_CUS is connected to client independant customizing. In client 000 you can decide if the lock is valid in client 000 and any other client. In other clients the lock is only valid in this client.
