Setting Up Specific A/R Invoice Layouts for Users in User Defaults

In the User Defaults, there is a Print tab. The A/R Invoice option is selected on this tab in the document drop-down list. Additionally, the Export to PDF checkbox is checked. This configuration exports an A/R Invoice to a PDF file using the default layout when a document is created.

The requirement is to export A/R Invoices to PDF with layouts other than the default. We want to create multiple User Defaults, each catering to a specific group of users who export A/R Invoice PDFs. Each User Default should export the A/R Invoice PDF with a custom layout instead of the default one.

Hi,

The Print tab in the User Defaults only determines if and when to print the given document types.

Determining who prints what layout, is setup via the Layout Designer. Select an invoice and then press the Layout Designer button:

This will open up a dialog from which you can determine who prints with what layout. Here you can also determine different layouts for different customers:

Hi Johan, the set up was followed and as the user adds the document, the PDF with the default layout is created. Thanks
